Lauren Boebert continues her pattern of voting to harm her own district

With prices high and families hurting, Lauren Bobert voted to keep tariffs in place, the cost of which is making life harder for Coloradans

Highlands Ranch, CO – Again Lauren Boebert has voted to harm her own district. When given the opportunity to right the wrongs of tariffs, Boebert voted to give up Congressional responsibility by keeping the tariffs that are harming Colorado's farmers and families in place.

This was a move that even her Republican colleagues are admitting is a massive tax paid by American families. Republican Representative Don Bacon was quoted as saying “American consumers pay the tariffs and thus it is a big tax.” Republican Representative Jeff Hurd of Colorado’s 3rd Congressional district voted to repeal the tariffs on Canada, but Boebert didn’t.

“This is part of a broader pattern of decisions that don’t reflect what many people in this district need right now,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “Families are already feeling stretched. Supporting cuts to hospital funding, higher health insurance premiums, and policies that keep costs high makes it harder for hardworking Coloradans to get ahead. Leadership should be about listening and responding to the real concerns of the people you represent. This district deserves leaders who are focused on practical solutions that improve everyday life.”

Eileen is not alone in her assessment of the harms these continued tariffs will bring. The Yale Budget Lab has found that these tariffs are creating a burden on the average Colorado family to the tune of  $1,700 in additional costs each year. The US Chamber of Commerce has called on Congress to repeal these tariffs, writing that  “American families are facing thousands of dollars in higher prices as a result of these increased taxes. Small businesses, manufacturers, farmers, and ranchers are struggling with higher costs.”

“Colorado's 4th Congressional District has serious issues with its infrastructure, healthcare, water quality, and cost of living. Addressing any of those issues requires serious leadership,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “Something that Boebert has demonstrated she is lacking.”

Eileen Laubacher Emerges as Best Candidate to Beat Lauren Boebart in November

With over $6.4 million raised in 2025, the Laubacher campaign is positioned to defeat Lauren Boebert and deliver real leadership to CO-04.

Highlands Ranch, CO – With more than $6.4 million raised in 2025, Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher’s campaign for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District is proving that this race is not only competitive - it is winnable. Recent election results in Texas, including a Democratic victory in a state legislative district that Donald Trump carried by 17 points, alongside competitive races in Tennessee and across the country, show that voters are rejecting extremism and that even deeply Republican seats are now in play. Colorado’s 4th—far more competitive than a Trump +17 district—is exactly the kind of race where strength, discipline, and resources matter most. With unmatched fundraising and national support, Eileen has built the infrastructure and momentum necessary to compete and win.

“I am honored by the outpouring of support that I have received so far in the race. Every day on the campaign trail I have heard from Lauren Boebert's constituents that they want something different, they want actual representation. Boebert has continually acted against the interests of this district. With votes that harm healthcare, veterans, and have failed to address rising costs, Boebert has put her own constituents last. I have spent 34 years fighting for our country and I am excited and ready to fight for this district.“ said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher.

Positioned better than any opponent, the Laubacher campaign enters 2026 with unmatched momentum and a clear path to defeating Lauren Boebert. Recent competitive races across the country demonstrate that voters are ready for serious leadership and that this race is fully in play. With $6.4 million raised from more than 144,000 donors, Eileen Laubacher has 10 times more cash on hand than Lauren Boebert - proof that she has the strength, resources, and electability to win this race and deliver for Colorado’s 4th.

As she has traveled the district, Eileen has heard from Coloradans of all walks of life that they are ready for real representation and tired of the dysfunction. With a growing, people-powered movement behind her, Eileen is ready to bring about real change and deliver for Colorado’s 4th district. The path is clear, the energy is there, and Eileen is rising to the challenge.

Lauren Boebert votes to kill hospital and public health projects for her own district

After previously voting to gut Medicaid in Colorado and kick tens of thousands off their healthcare, Boebert votes to axe critical rural health projects in Cheyenne Wells & Fort Morgan

Highlands Ranch, CO – Rep. Lauren Boebert is continuing her all out assault on Coloradans’ healthcare.

Yesterday, Boebert voted for an extreme amendment to the appropriations bill that sought to strike local project funding from a key part of the package. The measure had bipartisan opposition, with more than 70 members of her own party voting against it.

“Lauren Boebert voted against hospital and public health projects in her own district,” said Eileen Laubacher. “Her vote targeted critical improvements in Cheyenne Wells and Fort Morgan that would strengthen emergency care, expand public health services, and keep rural hospitals functioning. Those projects would mean safer communities, healthier families, and care closer to home. That vote is not leadership - that’s abandoning the people you are suppose to be fighting for.”

This bill included critical projects in her own district – improvements to Keefe Memorial Hospital in Cheyenne Wells and the construction of a new public health facility in Fort Morgan that would expand healthcare access for rural Coloradans

Boebert has previously voted in numerous ways to raise premiums and take healthcare away from her constituents. After Boebert refused to fully extend the Affordable Care Act, health insurance premiums have now doubled on average for more than 200,000 Coloradans, forcing them to pay more for the same care.

That came after Boebert gutted Medicaid, kicking nearly 25,000 of her constituents off their healthcare, putting rural hospitals – including Prowers Medical Center in Lamar – and providers at risk of closure or cutting services, and pushing nursing homes to the brink of closure

Projects Boebert Voted to Kill:

Keefe Memorial Hospital

Location: Cheyenne Wells

Amount: $2,030,000.00

Purpose: Funding for rural hospital improvements

Northeast Colorado Health Department

Location: Fort Morgan

Amount: $3,041,000.00

Purpose: This project will support the construction of a new public health facility in Fort Morgan. This facility will provide increased capacity clinical services and be a safety net for the underserved populations of rural northeast Colorado.

Laubacher Campaign Raises Over $2 Million, Closing With Over $2.5 Million Cash-on-Hand

With over 16,500 grassroots donors from Colorado and an average donation of $22 dollars, Laubacher campaign shows unmatched strength against Boebert

Highlands Ranch, CO – Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher’s campaign for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District has once again posted blockbuster fundraising numbers, raising over $2 million this quarter. In 2025, Laubacher raised over $6.4 million including donations from more than 16,500 Coloradans which is four times more than any other candidate. Laubacher also has over $2.5M cash on hand which is five times as much as any other candidate in the race including Lauren Boebert. Eileen stands alone with the resources and proven credentials to win.

Month after month, we’re seeing Lauren Boebert fail to deliver for this district. She’s not showing up, she’s not fighting for our communities, and too often she’s standing by as policies hurt Colorado families - whether that’s cuts to childcare, threats to critical water projects, or rising costs that go unaddressed. Coloradans deserve a representative who will actually work to improve their lives. Our continued fundraising strength reflects what I hear everywhere I go: people want something different, something better, and leadership that puts this district first,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher.

The path to beating Lauren Boebert runs through Eileen and the contrast is clear. While others are talking, Eileen is capable of building a campaign capable of actually winning. Since launching her campaign, Laubacher has been on the ground across Colorado’s Fourth District listening to families, healthcare workers, farmers, and small business owners in communities. Wherever she goes, the message is clear: voters are tired of chaos and want leadership that takes the job seriously and works to deliver real solutions. Backed by growing grassroots support, historic fundraising, and a lifetime of service as a military leader and mother of five, Laubacher offers a stark contrast to the status quo. This race now presents a clear choice and Coloradans are ready for a representative who will meet this moment and fight for them.

Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher Endorsed by Veterans for Responsible Leadership

Highlands Ranch, CO – Today, retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher announced the endorsement of Veterans for Responsible Leadership (VFRL), a national coalition of veterans committed to advancing principled, accountable, and results-driven leadership in public office. The endorsement underscores strong confidence in Laubacher’s lifelong commitment to service, her national security expertise, and her readiness to deliver solutions for Colorado’s 4th District at a time when steady leadership is urgently needed.

“Veterans for Responsible Leadership is proud to endorse Eileen Laubacher in the race for U.S. Congress in Colorado’s 4th District. Eileen has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to our nation through more than 30 years of service in the United States Navy, retiring as a Rear Admiral. Leaders who can clearly articulate a vision and support it with real-world experience are rare, and Eileen is one of them. She understands the challenges facing our country and has the courage, discipline, and clarity to confront them head-on. I am confident she will bring integrity, passion, and results-oriented leadership to Congress,” said Veterans for Responsible Leadership President Bobby Jones.

“I’m deeply honored to earn the endorsement of Veterans for Responsible Leadership,” said retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “As someone who spent more than three decades in uniform, I know leadership is about responsibility, teamwork, and putting mission and people first. Our veterans, military families, and rural communities deserve leaders who will keep their promises, strengthen access to healthcare and earned benefits, and deliver real results. That’s the kind of leadership I will bring to Congress.”

Eileen, the daughter and granddaughter of Navy veterans, began her military service at the U.S. Naval Academy under President Reagan and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral as an intelligence officer. She deployed to Afghanistan while raising five children and spent more than three decades leading sailors, advising senior national security officials, and defending the Constitution she swore an oath to protect.

She is now running to bring that same sense of duty to Congress and to ensure that the people of Colorado’s 4th District have a representative focused on their future, not Washington’s political fights.

Colorado’s 4th District is home to tens of thousands of veterans, small-business owners, farmers, ranchers, and working families who, Laubacher says, deserve a representative who respects their independence, understands their challenges, and delivers real solutions instead of partisan theatrics.

Titles, ranks, and military service are used for identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement by the Department of Defense.

Laubacher Campaign Raises Almost $2.5 Million in Record Quarter, Closing With Nearly $2 Million Cash-on-Hand

With over 10,000 grassroots donors from Colorado and an average donation of $24 dollars, Laubacher campaign shows unmatched strength against Boebert

Highlands Ranch, CO – Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher’s campaign for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District has once again posted blockbuster fundraising numbers, raising almost $2.5million this quarter and closing with nearly $2 million cash on hand. In just months, Laubacher has raised $4.4 million including more than 10,000 Coloradans building a movement that combines unmatched grassroots enthusiasm with the resources to win.

“I’ve listened to veterans driving hours for care they’ve earned, hospitals struggling to keep their doors open, and families hit by rising costs. Lauren Boebert ignores them. She won’t show up, won’t answer their questions, and won’t lift a finger in Congress to help. I will. I’ll show up, I’ll listen, and I’ll fight for real solutions for the people of this district,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher.

In just a few months, Laubacher has traveled the breadth of the 4th District from rural hospitals on the Eastern Plains to county fairs in the suburbs of Denver. She is showing up in communities Boebert continues to neglect. The response has been overwhelming: Coloradans are demanding an end to dysfunction in Washington and a representative who understands their struggles and puts in the work to solve them.

With unmatched grassroots enthusiasm, record-breaking fundraising, and a leader who has served in uniform, raised five kids, and knows what accountability looks like, the contrast couldn’t be clearer. For the first time, Boebert is facing a challenger with the energy, the momentum, and the resources to meet this moment and the people of Colorado’s 4th District are ready to seize it.

(Ret.) Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher Endorsed by Leading Veterans Group Standing with Colorado’s Veterans, Farmers, and Families

Veterans across Colorado’s 4th District deserve a representative who honors their service, defends their rights, and gets the government out of the way

Highlands Ranch, CO – Today, retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher announced the endorsement of VoteVets, an organization of veterans and military families committed to electing leaders who understand duty, sacrifice, and the value of real public service. With over 1.5 million supporters, VoteVets is a powerful force in American politics helping elect veterans who continue their service in public office and holding politicians accountable when they fail to support those who’ve served. The group has a proven track record of flipping tough districts, backing candidates with deep national security experience, and delivering critical resources and grassroots energy to help them win. Their endorsement is a major vote of confidence in Laubacher’s leadership, her military record, and her commitment to putting country over party.

“I’m honored to have the support of VoteVets. This is personal to me because serving in uniform is about defending the Constitution and preserving your freedom which includes the freedom to keep your land and water rights secure. Freedom from surveillance, and from a Washington that’s forgotten its limits and forgotten who built this country,” said retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “It wasn’t giant corporations or mega farms that carried us through generations. It was small family farms, rural communities, and working people who sent their kids off to serve. Veterans deserve to come home to a country that honors that sacrifice - not one where they have to drive four hours just to get to the VA. I’m not running to expand Washington’s power. I’m running to protect your ability to live life on your terms, with dignity, independence, and real representation.”

Eileen, the daughter and granddaughter of Navy veterans, began her military career with an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy under President Reagan and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral, serving as an intelligence officer. She deployed to Afghanistan while raising five children and has spent her life serving something bigger than herself.

She’s now running to bring that same sense of duty to Congress and to fight for the independence and dignity of the people she seeks to represent.

“I’ve known Eileen since our days together at the U.S. Naval Academy, and worked closely with her throughout more than 30 years of Navy service. She is, and always has been, a principled leader, deeply committed to serving others, and a rational voice in the most challenging, chaotic times — exactly the kind of leader our nation needs in Congress today.”  Vice Admiral (ret.) John Mustin

Colorado’s 4th District is home to thousands of veterans and military families many of whom, Laubacher says, feel abandoned by a political system that treats them like talking points instead of people.

VoteVets Senior Advisor and former Congressman Max Rose added:

“Eileen Laubacher is a mission-focused leader who doesn’t play games. She’s running for the right reasons, and she understands what it means to fight for people, not politics. We’re proud to support her as she brings real service and serious leadership to Washington.”

Background:
Eileen Laubacher is a retired Rear Admiral, Naval Academy graduate, intelligence officer, and mother of five. She served her country for more than three decades.. She’s running for Congress to defend the Constitution, protect veterans and working families, and ensure that rural Colorado’s land, economy, and way of life are respected—not run over—by Washington.

Titles, ranks, and military service are used for identification purposes only and do not imply endorsement by the Department of Defense.

Laubacher Campaign Dominates Colorado Fundraising, Outraising Boebert 14-to-1

Laubacher raises $1.9 million from over 57,000 donors as Boebert’s fundraising plummets and her campaign reports spending nearly twice what it brought in

Laubacher raises $1.9 million from over 57,000 donors as Boebert’s fundraising plummets and her campaign reports spending nearly twice what it brought in

Highlands Ranch, CO — In a stunning show of strength and momentum, retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher’s campaign for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District has outpaced the competition and established itself as a political powerhouse. Laubacher’s campaign outraised Rep. Lauren Boebert by an eye-popping 14-to-1 margin this quarter and now reports having nearly six times more cash on hand. The haul places her among the top-performing fundraisers among congressional challengers nationally.

“This campaign is about restoring integrity, service, and seriousness to public office,” said retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “While Lauren Boebert sprints from scandal to scandal, we’re building something real -  a movement powered by regular people across Colorado who are ready for serious, steady leadership rooted in service, not self-promotion. I’ve led in war zones, briefed presidents, and raised five kids. I know what it takes to serve with integrity. And that’s exactly what Colorado’s 4th District deserves.”

The fundraising surge comes as momentum builds to flip Colorado’s 4th District and as Lauren Boebert’s campaign shows serious signs of collapse. This quarter, Boebert raised less than $150,000, a staggering drop from her own past fundraising hauls. She spent nearly twice what she brought in and is now limping along with almost no cash on hand. While Boebert chases headlines and abandons her district, voters are clearly tuning her out and donors are closing their wallets. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: Eileen Laubacher is building a serious, well-resourced campaign focused on service. Boebert is bleeding cash and losing support.

With more than $1.9 million raised in her first quarter as a candidate, Laubacher outraised even some of Colorado’s most established politicians.

Colorado voters are sending a message loud and clear and it’s showing up in the numbers:

  • One donation on average every 64 seconds

  • Contributions from over 56% of Colorado zip codes

  • A donation from nearly a third of all zip codes nationwide

  • 72,500 donations from more than 57,000 unique donors

  • Average donation of $26

  • 99% of donations were $100 or less

Rear Admiral (Ret.) Eileen Laubacher stuns Lauren Boebert with $1.9M Raised in just 54 days for CO-04

Coloradans rally behind Laubacher’s campaign to replace Boebert’s headline-chasing with real results.

Coloradans rally behind Laubacher’s campaign to replace Boebert’s headline-chasing with real results

Highlands Ranch, CO — In just her first quarter as a candidate, veteran and public servant Rear Admiral (Ret.) Eileen Laubacher announced today that her campaign has raised an eye-popping $1.9 million, with nearly $1.1 million in cash on hand, a clear rebuke of the political extremism and dysfunction that have failed Colorado’s 4th District.

The campaign began fundraising eight weeks ago and has already attracted a broad swath of small-dollar donors across Colorado and the country, reflecting deep enthusiasm for Laubacher’s leadership and message. With thousands of voter-driven contributions and no corporate PAC money, her early success underscores that voters in this district are ready for a change and they’re tired of the chaos, self-promotion, and headline-chasing that’s replaced real representation.

“We’re proving that a serious, service-driven leader can take on the noise, the culture wars, and the dysfunction in Washington and win,” said Rear Admiral (Ret.) Eileen Laubacher. “As a veteran and lifelong public servant, I spent nearly four decades serving this country. Lauren Boebert has built a brand -  not a record of service. Voters can tell the difference. I’m the toughest opponent Lauren’s ever faced and while she plays political games, I’m focused on real work delivering for veterans, families, and small businesses who’ve been left behind.”

The grassroots enthusiasm behind the campaign is undeniable:

  • One donation on average every 64 seconds

  • Contributions from over 56% of Colorado zip codes

  • A donation from nearly a third of all zip codes nationwide

  • 72,500 donations from more than 57,000 unique donors

  • Average donation of $26

  • 99% of donations were $100 or less

Rear Admiral Laubacher had nearly $1.1 million cash on hand as of the quarter closing deadline on June 30th. Her early success underscores a growing movement in Colorado’s 4th District – one that’s ready to turn the page on chaos and get back to common sense. With a proven record of service and leadership, she is building a campaign powered by voters who are fed up with political theatrics and hungry for results. As the race heats up, Laubacher stands ready to bring integrity, discipline, and real representation back to the people of eastern Colorado.

About Eileen:

Service to country runs deep in Rear Admiral (Ret.) Eileen Laubacher’s family. A proud Navy veteran with 34 years of service, she is the daughter and granddaughter of Navy veterans. Inspired by their legacy, she set her sights on the U.S. Naval Academy as early as preschool, years. She fulfilled that dream in 1986, joining one of the earliest classes to include women, and graduated in 1990.

Her distinguished naval career began as an intelligence officer, serving both in the United States and abroad. After transitioning to the Navy Reserve, she and her husband Chris made Colorado their permanent home, where they raised their five children. In 2009, she deployed to Afghanistan, relying on the strength of her family and community while serving overseas.

In 2018, she was promoted to Admiral and soon embarked on her most significant assignment yet, serving as the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché in New Delhi, India from 2019 to 2022. She later served on the National Security Council as the Senior Director for South Asia, before retiring from the Navy in October 2024 and returning to Colorado to enjoy time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Now, driven by the same commitment to service that has guided her life, Eileen Laubacher is stepping forward once again. This time to represent Colorado’s 4th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, a role she never planned to pursue but now embraces out of a deep sense of patriotic duty to stand up for hardworking families, support fellow veterans, and serve the community she loves.
