Eileen Laubacher Officially on the Ballot, Marks Turning Point in Fight Against Boebert

Highlands Ranch - Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher officially secured her place on the primary ballot, becoming the only Democratic candidate and marking a decisive turning point in the campaign to defeat Lauren Boebert. With this milestone, the campaign will now focus its full time, resources, and energy on what matters most: winning in November. Over the past eight months, Laubacher’s campaign has built an inclusive, energized coalition - engaging veterans, first-time caucus-goers, unaffiliated voters, frustrated Republicans and lifelong Democrats - proving that more unites Coloradans than divides them.

“The fight for Colorado starts today,” Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher said. “This milestone marks a new phase—one where all our energy, strategy, and focus goes into the work that matters most: defeating Lauren Boebert and delivering real leadership that shows up and gets things done.”

In stark contrast, Boebert has repeatedly failed to show up for the people of this district, leaving critical issues—like skyrocketing gas prices, unaffordable healthcare, and rising grocery costs—unaddressed. She has proven herself incompetent, incapable, ineffective, and unwilling to do the work Coloradans deserve. Eileen Laubacher will be the representative in Congress who shows up, works for the people, and fixes what Boebert has left broken.

“I want to thank the voters, volunteers, and community leaders who have shown their support and confidence throughout this campaign,” Laubacher said. “I also want to acknowledge the other candidates and all of their passionate supporters who stepped up and competed. They strengthened the conversation and energized our base. Now, with the ballot secured, we will come together around a common goal: delivering leadership that works for the people and defeating Lauren Boebert in November.”

This campaign is for everyone in the district. Democrats, progressives, independents, Republicans, and anyone frustrated with the broken system all have a place here. What unites Coloradans are the challenges they share, and by coming together around those shared problems, this campaign is delivering leadership that listens, shows up, and gets results for the people. Coloradans from across the district who feel like things are headed in the wrong direction and want to send a message that we need to change course immediately have their champion in Eileen Laubacher.
