LAUBACHER LAUNCHES NEW BILLBOARDS ALONG I-70 AND I-25, LETS RESIDENTS KNOW WHO TO BLAME FOR HIGHER ENERGY BILLS: LAUREN BOEBERT
Bennett, CO – Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher launched billboards across Colorado’s 4th district bringing attention to Lauren Boebert’s votes that lower barriers for data centers and cause utilities costs to skyrocket. Two of the billboards are along I-25, and another sits directly on I-70, just 0.6 miles east of the Strasburg exit, and is roughly 15 miles from the site of a proposed large-scale data center in Bennett.
“I’ve heard real concerns about this data center from people here in the community – about the drain on water and energy, and the impact on the cost of utilities,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “Lauren Boebert took money from data center lobbyists, voted to give companies building data centers $70 billion in tax breaks that will accelerate their construction, and now we are seeing proposed data centers across the district. I want to make sure people here know who to blame when their water and electricity bills are higher.”
The town of Bennett has deliberated about building a data center on 102 acres of land in the community, and previously issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a data center development. The infrastructure plans could support up to 164 megawatts of power – a hyperscale data center is typically anything over 100 megawatts, so the data center would be significant.
The community has been vocal about their disapproval of a data center in Bennett. Asked about the proposed data center, Michael, a resident of Bennett, said: “We think Lauren Boebert should put it in her backyard or where the sun don’t shine. We don’t want it here in Bennett, we don’t even have enough water for it. And it’s going to take all of our resources and money.”

Boebert Cuts Medicaid Funding, Then Says Rural Hospitals Don't Need More Support
Highlands Ranch, CO – In 2025, Lauren Boebert voted for legislation projected to cut approximately $137 billion in federal Medicaid spending in rural areas over the next decade. Now, she's telling the Colorado Sun that rural hospitals don't need more funding, instead touting the five-year, $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program as a “massive benefit” to rural hospitals.
“Lauren Boebert doesn’t seem to understand the strain our rural hospitals are under, and the impact this has on rural communities,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “Maybe if she’d taken the time to meet with all 14 rural hospitals in the 4th District, like I have, she would have a better understanding of how these rural hospitals rely on Medicaid reimbursements to survive.”
“I’ve heard these cuts to Medicaid be referred to by leaders at multiple different hospitals as death by a thousand cuts, and I’ve heard the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) referred to as a band-aid on a bullet wound,” Laubacher continued. “RHTP only covers about a third of the projected Medicaid reductions, and that funding ends after five years. These Medicaid cuts will continue long after.”
Only up to 15% of the funding hospitals receive from RHTP can be used for direct patient care payments, which substantially limits its ability to replace Medicaid reimbursements hospitals would otherwise receive and depend on for their survival.
“Lauren Boebert voted for Medicaid cuts while supporting legislation that included billions in tax benefits for data center companies,” said Laubacher. “And now she's telling rural hospitals they don't need more help. Maybe she should spend less time defending her vote and more time listening to the people who are actually trying to keep health care available in our rural communities.”
“When I get to Congress, I'll work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to protect Medicaid funding and make sure our rural hospitals have the resources they need not just to survive, but to thrive.”

Boebert Touts $250 Million in Colorado Funding She Voted Against
Highlands Ranch, CO — On Monday, Rep. Lauren Boebert’s office issued a press release touting her work with the U.S. Department of Energy to strengthen Colorado’s electric grid, highlighting a new $250 million award through the Department’s SPARK program.
There’s just one problem: Boebert voted against the law that funded the SPARK program.
The SPARK funding comes from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which was signed into law on November 15, 2021. Boebert voted against the legislation and now, five years later, is taking credit for funding she tried to block.
“This is the kind of Washington politics people are tired of,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “Lauren Boebert votes against investments in Colorado when the cameras are on, then takes credit when the money comes home. You don't get to vote against funding for our communities and then pretend you delivered it.”
Laubacher continued: “And it’s part of a larger pattern. She says she opposes foreign wars, but voted five times against ending U.S. involvement in the war with Iran. She voted against the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, but now wants credit for the investments it created. Her rhetoric says one thing; her voting record says another.”
“The people of this district deserve a representative who will actually do the work - not someone who votes no in Washington and shows up later to take credit for the results. If Lauren Boebert believed this investment was good for Colorado, she should have voted for it when it mattered.”

Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher Earns Endorsement from Former Governor Bill Ritter
Highlands Ranch, CO – Today, retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher announced an endorsement from former Governor of Colorado Bill Ritter. Ritter served as the 41st governor of Colorado, from 2007 to 2011, focusing on energy, creating jobs, and expanding access to affordable health care.
“Governor Ritter understands what it takes to lead through tough times and deliver for Coloradans,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “During the Great Recession, he stayed focused on creating jobs, strengthening Colorado’s economy, and making sure rural and agricultural communities weren’t left behind. That kind of steady, practical leadership is exactly what we need more of in Washington, and I’m grateful to have him standing with us.”
Governor Ritter earned a reputation for bringing people together to solve complex state challenges. By focusing on balanced budget management, rural healthcare access, and pragmatic workforce development, he proved that good governance means putting results ahead of partisanship. His track record reflects a steady commitment to accountability, fiscal responsibility, and delivering tangible progress for everyday Coloradans.
“Eileen Laubacher has spent her entire life in service to our nation, taking on tough challenges and delivering results,” said former Governor Bill Ritter. “Colorado needs steady, pragmatic leadership in Washington - someone who understands how to support our rural communities, strengthen our economy, and lower costs for working families. Admiral Laubacher has the experience, integrity, and discipline to represent the hardworking people of Colorado’s 4th District.”

Running a people-powered campaign, over 31,000 individual Coloradans have contributed financially to bring serious leadership to Colorado’s 4th District.
Highlands Ranch, CO – Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher’s campaign for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District has again proven its fundraising strength and seriousness, raising over $2.6 million this quarter. This is nearly $1 million more than she raised in the second quarter, demonstrating the incredible grassroots backing and momentum that continue to grow across the district, state, and country.
Nearly 200,000 donors nationwide, including more than 31,000 Coloradans, have contributed to the campaign, with an average donation of just $21. Laubacher continues to build the momentum, field organization, and financial resources needed to deliver common-sense representation for Colorado families. She stands alone as the candidate with the grassroots support, leadership experience, and proven credentials required to win this November.
“I am incredibly grateful to every person who has chosen to invest in this campaign. Every donation, from $5 to $500, is a reminder that people across this district believe in what we are fighting for and want real, serious representation. I will never take that support for granted. Unlike Lauren Boebert, I believe in showing up for the people, focusing on the needs of all constituents and meeting them where they are to listen,” said Retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher.
Eileen has built a campaign powered by grassroots support. Throughout the campaign, Laubacher has made it a priority to listen directly to the people of Colorado’s 4th Congressional District, traveling across all 21 counties to meet with families, healthcare workers, farmers, small business owners, and veterans. She has visited all 14 rural hospitals and driven more than 33,000+ miles across the district, an area as large as the state of South Carolina. These conversations have shaped her commitment to lowering costs, protecting healthcare, supporting rural hospitals, and strengthening the local economy.
