(Ret.) Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher Endorsed by Leading Veterans Group Standing with Colorado’s Veterans, Farmers, and Families
Veterans across Colorado’s 4th District deserve a representative who honors their service, defends their rights, and gets the government out of the way
Highlands Ranch, CO – Today, retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher announced the endorsement of VoteVets, an organization of veterans and military families committed to electing leaders who understand duty, sacrifice, and the value of real public service. With over 1.5 million supporters, VoteVets is a powerful force in American politics helping elect veterans who continue their service in public office and holding politicians accountable when they fail to support those who’ve served. The group has a proven track record of flipping tough districts, backing candidates with deep national security experience, and delivering critical resources and grassroots energy to help them win. Their endorsement is a major vote of confidence in Laubacher’s leadership, her military record, and her commitment to putting country over party.
“I’m honored to have the support of VoteVets. This is personal to me because serving in uniform is about defending the Constitution and preserving your freedom which includes the freedom to keep your land and water rights secure. Freedom from surveillance, and from a Washington that’s forgotten its limits and forgotten who built this country,” said retired Rear Admiral Eileen Laubacher. “It wasn’t giant corporations or mega farms that carried us through generations. It was small family farms, rural communities, and working people who sent their kids off to serve. Veterans deserve to come home to a country that honors that sacrifice - not one where they have to drive four hours just to get to the VA. I’m not running to expand Washington’s power. I’m running to protect your ability to live life on your terms, with dignity, independence, and real representation.”
Eileen, the daughter and granddaughter of Navy veterans, began her military career with an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy under President Reagan and rose to the rank of Rear Admiral, serving as an intelligence officer. She deployed to Afghanistan while raising five children and has spent her life serving something bigger than herself.
She’s now running to bring that same sense of duty to Congress and to fight for the independence and dignity of the people she seeks to represent.
“I’ve known Eileen since our days together at the U.S. Naval Academy, and worked closely with her throughout more than 30 years of Navy service. She is, and always has been, a principled leader, deeply committed to serving others, and a rational voice in the most challenging, chaotic times — exactly the kind of leader our nation needs in Congress today.” Vice Admiral (ret.) John Mustin
Colorado’s 4th District is home to thousands of veterans and military families many of whom, Laubacher says, feel abandoned by a political system that treats them like talking points instead of people.
VoteVets Senior Advisor and former Congressman Max Rose added:
“Eileen Laubacher is a mission-focused leader who doesn’t play games. She’s running for the right reasons, and she understands what it means to fight for people, not politics. We’re proud to support her as she brings real service and serious leadership to Washington.”
