Campaign Coordinator
Campaign: Eileen Laubacher for U.S. House, CO-04
Reports To: Campaign Manager
Location: This is a primarily in-person role based in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District. You are expected to work on-site most weekdays, with limited telework flexibility. Evening and weekend availability is required for in-person events and campaign activities.
Position Overview
The Campaign Coordinator is a mission-critical team member helping drive the campaign’s fundraising, events, and day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be at the heart of a competitive congressional campaign. You’ll spend about half your time managing candidate call time and donor follow-up, with the rest split between staffing events and supporting the campaign’s administrative and scheduling needs.
Key Responsibilities
Call Time Management (20%)
Draft and maintain daily/weekly call time schedules with the Finance Director
Build call sheets with donor history, giving capacity, and tailored talking points
Brief the candidate before each call block and staff call time to maintain focus and pace
Track dials, conversations, pledges, and notes in real time using tools like Numero and NGP
Generate daily pledge-to-cash reports and ensure timely, personalized follow-up
Draft thank-you emails, pledge reminders, and handwritten notes; manage follow-up scheduling
Event Staffing & Support (30%)
Attend and staff campaign events, house parties, fundraisers, and community meet-and-greets
Track and manage event logistics, including set-up, signage, literature, and guest lists
Support the candidate on-site with materials, reminders, and follow-up tracking
Liaise with hosts, surrogates, and campaign team to ensure seamless execution
Administrative & Communications Support (50%)
Manage candidate scheduling, including invitations, confirmations, and internal calendar updates
Coordinate campaign purchases (supplies, merchandise, printing) and track vendor communications
Draft first-pass content: thank-you notes, emails, newsletters, memos, social media templates, and event materials
Take photos and short videos at events for social media and internal use
Provide light IT support, including onboarding new staff and volunteers with email, shared drives, and digital tools
Support data entry for volunteer sign-in sheets, donor follow-up, and event tracking
Assist with volunteer/intern onboarding, research projects, and daily campaign operations
Handle routine office tasks such as checking the mail, picking up materials, and prepping items ahead of events
Maintain inbox organization, document
Ideal Qualifications
1+ cycle of campaign or political experience (internships count); direct fundraising or field experience preferred
Strong organizational skills with a talent for multitasking, follow-through, and staying ahead of deadlines
Strong writing ability and comfort drafting first-pass content across emails, memos, and talking points
Familiarity with NGP, Numero, Google Workspace, Excel, and ActBlue a plus
Willingness to work evenings and weekends; flexible schedule required

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $3,500 – $5,000/month, commensurate with experience
